I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Team RCD
Although I am not shaving my head, I wanted to do something to help such an under funded cause, and this one certainly hits close to home. The child that I am honoring is one of my students' brother. I am so incredibly proud of her as she has been strong and brace in sharing the story at competition with her first solo. For those that haven't seen the dance, it starts off with a letter to her brother, the letter ends with "We will fight this and we will win". It has been an emotional experience for both myself, and the audience, so I can not begin to imagine what the family is having to endure. Any way I can give back to them... I want to try. I want to see them win
Thank you
