I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My daughter Aimee was diagnosed with AML Leukemia in 2008 at age 16 years old.  She was like most teenage girls and was happy and carefree. Her life was forever changed when she heard the words, "you have cancer." She spent the next almost 2 years fighting to live.  I am trying to raise money for children's cancer research. Children should never have to endure this awful disease. I can honestly say that cancer didn't win because it never got her spirit, She never let it be in her way of her happiness. I truly believe that she is happy now but as her mother I will miss my child every day for the rest of my life.  Aimee wouldn't let me shave my head when she shaved hers because she didn't think I could pull off the bald look like she could (im afraid she might be right) but im braving the shave anyway!!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
