I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Westhaven Warriors

I'm super excited to participate in tomorrow's St. Baldrick's "Brave the Shave" event at the Rocky River Brewing Co. & Force Sports to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research!

Each year, 175,000 children around the world are diagnosed with cancer. With that staggering number, it is incomprehensible that childhood cancers receive less than 4% of federal funding for cancer research.  This is not enough.  So I decided to do something about it.

Just two days ago I joined the local Westhaven Warriors team which on its own has already raised over $132,000 this year, exceeding its aggressive $100,000 goal.  My personal goal to raise $100 in just 3 days before the event may have been modest but I thought would be achievable.  Thanks to some generous, fast-acting donors I've already doubled that initial goal.   Now I need your help- let's triple that goal!!  Help me get to $300 before tomorrow's 4pm shave!!

Will you make a donation? Will you make it today?  Every single dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.

Thank you to those who have donated to my page!! If you haven't yet, please consider doing so.  Thank you!
