I've always had a "soft-spot" in my heart to help those who are in need, especially young children. It truly breaks my heart to see cancer take over the lives of innocent youth, and I am willing to do anything to help find the cure for childhood cancer.
Last year, my cousin, as well as a few friends of mine had "braved the shave". I was truly inspired, and wanted to be a part of the event, but I wasn't 100% sure if I could do it. This year, it struck me that this was something that I wanted to be a part of, as it would help children in need.
I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
