I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My school that I work at Jerling Junior High is participating in a St Baldrick's Event on March 17th. I being someone who shaves his head already thought I could do little more than donate money to the event. Our School originally had a goal of $5000 which we have already reached, and our principal made a comment of stretching it out to $10,000, it got me thinking. It has been 25 years since I was without a beard. Several students joked with me about shaving my beard for the event. So, I have gone class to class challenging the students to come up with the $10,000 dollar amount to have a raffle for a student to shave my beard. I did not tell them that I would also solicit funds to help them reach the goal. So this is where I hit up my friends, family, neighbors, Fellow Lions, and strangers to help me out. The proceeds goes to help cure Cancer in Kids.  Thanks in Advance!!!

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
