I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research
In September 2016, I was diagnosed with Alopecia Areata, which is an auto-immune disease that affects my hair. My body attacks my hair, causing it to fall out. I have had my hair fall out leaving bald spots all over my head. With medicine, my hair is growing back now. Kids with cancer can lose all of their hair too, but not only do they have to have a bald head, they are sick too. I want to support kids with cancer by helping raise money and shaving my hair. I've learned that being bald isn't that bad!

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
