I've joined this great team, along with my beautiful friend Sara, whose son Noah has Ewings Sarcoma, to help raise money, and awareness, for childhood cancer research. Over 15,000 kids aged 0-19 are diagnosed with cancer yearly in the United States. One in 8 of them will not survive. Over 50% of childhood deaths by disease are from cancer. Kids cancers are different than adult cancers, and so are the treatmetns. Funding for research and important clinical trials goes down every year. And parents of cancer kids chase treatments around the country, around the world, in search of something that might save their child.
Cancer has touched my life in countless ways, and I am a cancer survivor because research helped develop a test to detect my cancer early, and provided treatment options. I've seen cancer take so many, and I want to fight back. Help me by making a donation using the link to the left. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. If you can't donate, research. Volunteer. CHECK THE BOX FOR ORGAN DONATION - GIVE BLOOD - GO TO www.organdonor.gov/about/process/living-donation and spread the word. Do good things, be kind, today is a GOOD day to save a life.
