I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Three-peat!

It's taken me 4 years to get back here, but I didn't waste my time. I've been busy growing my hair out to donate. It's about 2ft long now. I'll post a picture soon.

St Baldrick's is a cause I believe in and support. I have been SO fortunate to have 3 healthy children and being a shavee is a reminder that not everyone is so fortunate. There are parents and children out there going through painful experiences, both physically and emotionally. I do this to support them, as a show of solidarity.

But I also do this to help raise money for research to end childhood cancers. Please consider donating to this very worthy cause.

Here's a link to the video of my first time: https://youtu.be/UBLcDEJqIE0?t=4m51s I start it about 5 min in when they start the actual shaving. Start at the beginning to see them cut my long hair off.

And this is the link to the following year when Emmie (8 years at the time) and I were shavees: https://youtu.be/T9qL29eqmAs?t=2m54s

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
