I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hi! I'm Lila and I'm shaving my head for the third time to raise money for kids cancer research. I've enjoyed being bald because it stops you from hiding behind something that has become so normal for us, our hair. There are few things more liberating than shaving your head, and doing it while you're surrounded by supportive, loving people makes it all the more fun. One of our close family friends, Violet was born with Hepatoblastoma and is now cancer free, she is the reason I started shaving my head. I'm proud to be participating in this event again!
