I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Go 8 Blue

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Go 8 Blue

He is doing it again!  Michael is shaving his head to raise money for childhood cancer research! On April 7th, he will walk into the gym at my school and, by choice, have his head shaved.  I will admit, when he took part in this amazing fundraiser last year, he didn't have a choice--I "made" him do it.  This year, he wants to do it.  Although he doesn't understand the gravity of this horrible disease, what he does understands, is that he is helping kids.

With the support of our friends and family, last year he was able to raise $575. This year we are raising the bar and shooting for $700!  Please consider donating to this very worthy cause.  By showing your support, you are also showing a 4 year old how important it is to give back.  You are showing a 4 year old how important it is to help others.  Most importantly, you are helping me teach a 4 year old what empathy is, the ability to care about someone's needs without having to experience those needs himself.

All that being said, he needs your help! Will you make a donation? Because in the end these donations are going to help thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
