I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research

Hey Bulldogs, Vikings, co-workers, family;

 I'm cutting ~10 inches of my hair to raise money for childhood cancer research! Throughout my life I have encountered so many beautiful people - people I could not imagine my life without. Some of them, children, teens, adults - suffer from not only the physical pains of cancer, but the psychological and emotional trauma it brings. I do this for them. For some of my dearest friends who faced great challenges, but inspire me each day being "The one who lived". This is also for those who did not. The countless children who I cannot bring back with $500 and a haircut.

However, it is my belief that if you can do something to help - do it. So I'm doing it. My goal is $500 in the next two months and even a small donation of $5 can help me get there. If just 100 of my friends give five dollars (the price of a draft beer) then we can collectively do a little good for these kids and all facing the obstacles of cancer. If you have any questions about what exactly you are donating to, I encourage you to read the info page and conduct your own research as I have done mine. I will be cutting my hair in March, so let's do this!

 Thank you for your time and consideration,

 Megan.
