I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Professor Xavier Thinks I'm Great

Two years ago I watched my husband rally, raise funds, and then shave his head for St. Baldrick's. The kindness and generosity of those who donated and participated has been inspiring for me. I decided then that I wanted, no NEEDED, to participate this year.

I believe we all have that one "thing" that we feel called to help or support. For those who know me then you know I have soft spot for children. While I might not be able to sit and hold each child's hand and help them through their fight, I can at least try to take some of the burden off their family and hopefully make a kid or two smile with my shaved head.

So I'm shaving my head to help fund childhood cancer research which is extremely underfunded. St. Baldrick's created this head shaving event as a means to help raise funds and awareness in a fun setting that all can participate in one way or another.

Here's how YOU can help. By making a donation on this page and by helping to spread the word. It's as easy as that! Every dollar, Facebook post, or Tweet helps and is appreciated more than you could know.

Thank you to all for your kind hearts and generosity!
