I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I'm shaving my head and beard to raise money for childhood cancer research! I've been a fan of St. Baldrick's ever since my son Gus was first honored in 2011, the year after he was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma. I like them because over 70% of every dollar raised goes directly to pediatric cancer research.

Last year our local festival happened to fall on the two year anniversary of the day we lost Gus. When my wife Erin got up and spoke about how much St Baldrick's means to the families like ours and those still fighting. I knew I wanted to do more. I decided I would be a shavee this year. I figured if I didn't shave for a whole year and then shaved my head AND beard it would help raise awareness.

Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
