I am shaving my head to help raise money to find a cure for all childhood cancers. This past week as an educator has been my most challenging because I lost one of my students, David Jones, to cancer. David was a true warrior, battling this disease since the age of 4. He never let cancer define him; he lived his life. His mother gave up everything to be with David through all his ups and downs. She is also a hero as her dedication to him was incredible. David will be sorely missed, but never forgotten. Rest in peace my friend, you are finally cancer free.
