I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: LAFD Gold Badges

I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures. Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. I volunteer to shave heads every year at Fire Station 89...I do so to honor the memory of my mother, Helen Ferry, who lost her battle to Cancer in 2001. I miss her every day and I truly wish she could have met my two sons. She always wanted grandkids but sadly didn't have the chance to meet them. Cancer took her from us. Cancer has taken many children from their loved ones. Please help me raise money to find a cure to end this horrible disease. You can donate online. Every dollar helps. Or if you are near North Hollywood, CA drop in Saturday and experience this amazing day for yourself. Sign up to donate hair, get your head shaved, take part in the many silent auctions and just enjoy the food trucks, games, tours and meeting some amazing Firemen and Policemen. They are all there to raise money for a cure! Join me on stage where I will be cutting/shaving hair non-stop!!! I'll even shave your head if you want me to! Thanks... for any donation you can give. It means a lot. Sincerely, Kim
