My Story

After a fever Sinatra couldn't shake, weight loss, and feeling lethargic, blood tests were done, the results of which sent us to CHOC, Children's Hospital of Orange County for further testing. On Thursday December 19, 2013 after receiving results from a bone marrow aspiration, our lives changed forever when Sinatra was diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL). We were just 50 days from the end of Sinatra's 2.5 year treatment journey, yet Thursday March 3, 2016, Sinatra and her family were informed that she had relapsed and had been diagnosed with another kind of Leukemia (AML). Sinatra's fight with cancer ended in December 2017. Sinatra was a kind soul that has put a hole in the hearts of anyone that knew her. We will always remember her for how sweet she was to everyone, her zest for life and ability to party all night long, her love of blueberry muffins and chips and ambidextrous writing skills. Thank you everyone for your support, our family and Sinatra felt love throughout her entire journey. Thank you for joining the fight against cancer! sinatralynn.blogspot.com
