I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I’m shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Yes, you heard right, I am shaving my head! It’s a thought I’ve had for a few years now, and I finally feel I am ready to do it. It all started a couple weeks ago when I participated in Cycle for Survival, an event to raise funds for rare cancer research. During the event, I heard many stories about mothers and families and their struggles dealing with cancer. I couldn’t stop thinking, “How can I do more?” That’s when I thought about St. Baldrick’s. Personally, I don’t know a child fighting cancer, however, I am still a mother. I have two children of my own and the thought of having to go through that ordeal with them is unbearable. I know that I would need all the support I could get and that is the reason that I want to support these families in any way I can.

So please, every little bit will help. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. No one wants to be put in this position. Help me do everything I can to support those in need.
