I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Turbinators

I am braving the shave for my Super David and all the children that are fighting or who have fought the beast of childhood cancer! As I watched my son suffer the side effects of chemo, lay in a hospital bed recovering from major surgery to remove his cancerous tumors (including a kidney and a half), as well as the emotional battle that comes with this journey, I felt completely helpless. Throughout David's fight and since he has been declared in remission, I have made it my mission to raise awareness for childhood cancer and the need for more funding and research. Instead of being helpless, I want to do all that I can to help. Shaving my head and raising funds is something that I can do! The government currently allocates 4% of all research funding to childhood cancers. That is 4 cents for every dollar donated. That is not enough. 100% of the money raised by St. Baldrick's goes directly to childhood cancer research. No amount is too small. Please support me in this endeavor!
