I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
The Turbinators
I am braving the shave for my Super David and all the children that are fighting or who have fought the beast of childhood cancer! As I watched my son suffer the side effects of chemo, lay in a hospital bed recovering from major surgery to remove his cancerous tumors (including a kidney and a half), as well as the emotional battle that comes with this journey, I felt completely helpless. Throughout David's fight and since he has been declared in remission, I have made it my mission to raise awareness for childhood cancer and the need for more funding and research. Instead of being helpless, I want to do all that I can to help. Shaving my head and raising funds is something that I can do!
The government currently allocates 4% of all research funding to childhood cancers. That is 4 cents for every dollar donated. That is not enough. 100% of the money raised by St. Baldrick's goes directly to childhood cancer research. No amount is too small. Please support me in this endeavor!

We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
