I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Childhood cancer research is such an important cause to me for so many reasons; and luckily St. Baldrick's is on their side, helping to support research for the people we love.

This event at the University of Maine has meant so much to me through its years here on campus, and has even inspired me to plan my own event and shave my head for St. Baldrick's in the past, when I was in high school. I am ecstatic that I can be a part of a cause and an event that is so much greater than me.
Before I participated in my first even I had no idea the impact I would have on my community. By donating to this cause you are not only helping fight a vicious disease, you are also working to inspire others in the community and spreading love.
