I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research with: 1 Forrest 1

Glancing around my dorm room, I see pictures of my two brothers, ages 17 and 6. I see the confirmation and senior picture of Alec, thinking back to his younger years and pride swelling in my heart realizing he is now a young man. My desk is decorated with several different coloring pages and a toy Minion given to me by my 6 year old brother. My mind wanders to the countless hours spent jumping on the trampoline and swimming until our fingers resemble prunes. I cannot imagine growing up without them.

A child is diagnosed with pediatric cancer every three minutes. Children are capable of such sincere love. To see any child go through this disease is very hard for me. Someday, I aspire to be a Child Life Specialist. They are basically liaisons between family, child, school and doctor. Children who are sick aren't given the luxury of having a normal childhood. I want to give them a reason to smile every day of their life.

Right now, we have the opportunity to fund research to cure this awful disease. Please take time to donate as little as five dollars. All of the proceeds go directly to research.
