I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Caitlin Forbes and I am a proud Shavee! I am shaving my head in honor of a young boy that lived in our town named Payton O'Brien , who battled hard to fight cancer. When he was only in kindergarten, Payton was diagnosed with cancer and had lost a leg by the end of the year. My school supported him all the way, even to the point of putting on a musical for his sake. Payton was truly our super man and he never stopped fighting to beat the cancer. A few short months ago, Payton died, a second grader leaving a grieving family and hundreds of heartbroken supporters. But we all still love Payton!

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
