I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

Although I have not personally experienced a child going through treatment, I was interested in St. Baldrick's mission. At first I was hesitant to get started because 1) I hate asking for money from people and 2) I have never been bald before in my life. I first got this idea when I was complaining about my hair saying how much easier it would be if I just shaved it all off. When most people say this, it's mostly just to get the point across that they are REALLY annoyed with their hair. However, after I said it, I thought "why not actually shave it?" I started researching many different organizations that were involved with shaving heads, and came across St. Baldrick's. The stories of different children really moved me, so I decided to take action.

I really believe in everything they do for childhood research. 74% goes directly to researching childhood cancers. 22% goes to funding in order to keep this going, and 4% goes to administration. I really want to make a difference, and this is the only way I know how for right now. Please help me reach my goal!
