I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I've done this before and I decided to do it again:  I'm getting my head shaved and helping raise money for childhood cancer.  I do it in part in honor of my Aunt Carlyn, who lost her beautiful hair and beautiful life to cancer.   And I do it for every cancer patient.  When I did this in 2013, I set my goal at $100 and my generous family and friends contributed $630.  Because of that, I dared to set a higher goal this time. Of course, as usual with me, I'm doing it all wrong, because I see I am supposed to do this in honor of a child who currently has cancer.  However, this is the charity where I get to be bald. I loved my aunt.  My aunt got bald.  I'm doing it for Aunt Carlyn! Anyways, I expect I'll get a few blog posts out of it.
