My Story

Ben was an active healthy kid, loved playing baseball and video games. He was diagnosed with leukemia on July 15, 2016 at the ages of 10 and our lives were changed forever. It was like the wind was taken out of our sails. Going through treatment was like going through hell for Ben. As a parent it is so hard to watch your child suffer. Ben handled the treatment like a true warrior. He is now in maintenance. He still has a long way to go but we take every day as it comes and we are thankful for every minute.
