I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

i have been thinking about doing this each year for the past DECADE, and every year i come up with some excuse to back out. but there are no excuses this year. as a newish mom, my heart aches each time my son spikes a fever or has an ear infection. with a few snuggles and lots of rest, he's always back to being the energizer bunny in just a few short days. i can only imagine the anxiety, pain, and heartache families touched with childhood cancers must experience when days turns to weeks, months, and years.

please help make cancer a little less scary. together let's raise $100 per inch of hair! every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers through life saving research!
please also consider joining me at the event, offering up positive thoughts for those in need, sharing this story, or going out and doing something on your own to brighten the world around us.
