I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My name is Rachel, and ever since I was little, I've always wanted to help make a difference in the world by saving lives. I never thought I was too young to do it, but I did feel that I didn't have the skills to. However, as I got older, I noticed people that did fun raisers, hosted events, and even shaved their heads to make a difference and save lives. I don't have enough knowledge or resources to create an easy way to detect cancer or to create a potential treatment, but I do have hair that I can put to use. So, I decided that I would. My goal is to raise at least a thousand dollars towards cancer research, which seems kind of small, but I'm sure every penny will help! Along with raising money, I want to honor as many kids as possible, because each and every one of them deserves to be honored and if it were possible, I would honor every single one of them. I hope that through Baldrick's, I can help make the world better.
