I'm raising money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
Chelsea was diagnosed with A.L.L. (Acute lymphoblastic leukemia) on July 16th 2013. She did three rounds (8 months) of chemo. She was not responding to chemo, so we pack up our family in March 2014 and headed to Calgary where Chelsea was to receive a stem cell transplant. After a lot of battle and after several months in and out of the hospital, she beat it. As of June 26th 2014 Chelsea has been in remission. On June 30th we headed home from Calgary. Over a year and a half later Chelsea still has some challenges, but still has no cancer cells and has 100% donor cells! Our family just like any others battling cancer has had many ups and downs, but feel truly blessed that our child has beaten this horrible disease!
