I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Soccer Ball-Dees

Hi, my name is Adele Giovanniello, and I'm 12 years old. I can't imagine what it feels like to suffer such pain and sadness for cancer patients and their families. Life seems to be unfair sometimes. What inspired me the most was my whole team. I wouldn't even have considered it if they weren't doing it. I will miss my hair and obviously having it blowing in the wind, but now I know that maybe someone else can with my hair. I mean, hair grows back eventually, right? This is in honor of Audrey DeBritz, and in memory of my Aunt Maureen Muckian. Another reason I decided to do this is to help someone who feels less confident with themselves, and I want them to know that I'll be standing behind them the entire journey.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
