I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Stephanie Averill

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Stephanie Averill

We are doing this because I had another crazy dream with my mom who died of cancer. We were outside our house, and she was sitting on a white metal chair. It was just how we were when I shaved her head a few months before she died, except her hair was long and thick, like when she was younger. She looked up at me and said, "It's just hair. It'll grow back and it will be healthier and happier. It doesn't change who you are. In fact, it frees you to be YOU. Just do it." She smiled at me as I turned on the clipper and the sun shone down on her face. Then she said, "You could do it, too." I woke up and thought that I could do it. It is just hair. When I told my husband, he said he would do it with me (because he loves me so much and is a great husband and friend), and then, because he was doing it, our youngest said he would do it, also.  Please help us help others.  Donate what you can or consider volunteering or coming to cheer us on.  Thank you so much!
