I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Hawks for Heroes

Dear Families, My name is Mike Holtschlag and I am currently a Head Coach within the Hawks Organization. Not long ago I coached a young boy whose sister was diagnosed with cancer. Through this experience I came to better appreciate the impact that such a disease can have on a family. As parents and grandparents we never want to hear the words that our child has cancer. Each year I try to do my part by participating in St. Baldricks as a means to raise money so that some day we might find a cure. This year is no different and I am therefore reaching out to the broader Hawks organization to solicit your help. As a coach I try to teach my team that there are choices in life, both right ones and wrong ones. Some that are in your control and others that are not. When a child is diagnosed with cancer they don’t have a choice - they (and their family) have to fight it. But the rest of us have a choice - whether that be to stick this message in the trash OR get involved and help, either by making a donation (via the link below) or joining my team - Hawks for Healing Heroes - and participating in the St. Baldricks event at the Palmer Place in Lagrange March 16 th Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Together as a team we can battle back cancer and ensure that all our kids have no limit to the life choices ahead of them. Mike
