I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research

My wife has worked at Children's Hospital Colorado for over 20 years.  During that time she has worked with childhood cancer patients in a variety of ways: staff nurse, nurse manager; case management and home care.  During that time, she shared many stories of both survival and loss.  Regardless of the outcome, the stories shared three attributes - courage, resiliency and faith.

On Sept 3, 2014, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She went from giving chemo to receiving chemo, from providing care to being cared for.

During this time, she realized how brave the childhood cancer patients truly were.  And I realized how challenging it is to hope for the best while fearing the worst. Together we've decided I will shave my head to raise money to support pediatric cancer research. Please join us and contribute!
