I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: The Peachy Keens

I'm shaving my head in honor of my granddaughter, Georgia, a leukemia survivor, and to raise money for childhood cancer research. She was diagnosed the day after her 10th birthday, and after 28 months of treatment, she claimed her victory in 2012. She is now nearly three years off treatment and living her life as the happy, healthy teenager she should be.
Childhood cancers are different from adult cancers, and childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to brave the shave to raise money for cures and safer, less-toxic treatments. My family is dedicated to ensuring victories like Georgia's for all kids fighting cancer, and we hope you'll join us by donating to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. Every dollar makes a difference, and we thank you for your support!
To learn more about Georgia's journey, please visit her blog: www.keepingeorgiaonyourmind.blogspot.com To learn more about her 15 for 15 in '15 campaign, please watch and share the video and visit her Hero Fund page: http://www.stbaldricks.org/hero-funds/georgia/
