I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research!
I don't have cancer, but when a co-worker volunteered to shave heads for this event, I started thinking. What would I do if I lost all of my hair? What would I do if I had cancer? I don't know, but I do know I have the choice to help someone in need, and that I am more then my hair. So that having been said I am a Shavee! And for what it's worth you are more then your hair- "Who" your are is defined by your heart- what lies underneath all of the stuff life has thrown at you.
You can help, you can volunteer, you can be a shavee, or you can donate to this event. And by the way did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
