I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Hairless Hotties
Last year I was challenged by a friend's mom to shave my head...so this year I am taking the challenge along with family and friends! I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! As most of you know my son Joseph was diagnosed at age 5 with an inoperable brain tumor. Today he is 8 years old and his tumor is stable after 8 1/2 rounds of chemo. There is still so much research needed - there are still cancers that are not curable and hardly treatable. Joseph's chemo regimen had a 65% success rate. Many of the treatments that save our children's lives will cause serious health issues down the road and some have lasting effects from day one. We need better, safer and more effective treatments and one day hopefully a cure! Joseph's oncologist has actually received grants from St. Baldricks specifically for her research on brain tumors so your donation today could lead to the funding needed to one day treat Joseph's tumor if it starts to grow again and if not may lead to saving another child's life. No child should have to fight cancer! Now I need your help! Will you make a donation? Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. Please help me hit my goal of $1000!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
