I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: TEAM JADE

I created Team Jade in 2013 to raise money for kids with cancer. I shaved my head and raised over $2,500. It was awesome, considering I am the only person on team Jade. My dad shaved his head with me too. It wasn't easy being an 11 year old girl with a shaved head. Some people got it, most did not. I wasn't trying to be different. I was trying to make a statement. CANCER SUCKS!!!!! I have lossed people to cancer, my godfather, and recently my grandmother. Now my Nana has cancer too. I have Aunts and an Uncle who have fought cancer and beat it. I HATE CANCER!!!!! I even have 2 friends that their dad died of cancer. So ,if i could curse i would say F.U. Cancer, leave us all alone. Now could you imagine a child getting cancer. Your child, A niece,a nephew, a friend,a grandchild, a newborn baby. Noone could imagine this heartache. This is the reason i raise money for St. Baldricks, to help find a cure. To know that I have done something small for such big reasons feels great. I am not shaving my head this year but i hope to raise $750 to help find a cure. If everyone donates $5 I will make my goal. Thanks
