Hi! My name is Maris and I am 8-years-old. My big sister, Rayna, shaved her head for St. Baldricks four years ago. She raised a lot of money and I was so proud of her. I've been asking my parents every year when it would be my turn. I'm so excited this year to finally have my own story about helping kids kick cancer's butt!
I think kids are strong and we can do almost anything. I know that moms hate to see their kids hurting. My mom told me once that she hurts when I hurt. I've seen her cry before when I cried. I don't think kids should get sick and I don't think moms should have to cry. I hope I can raise enough money by shaving my head so that moms and kids can be healthy and happy together. Please help me reach my goal Thanks! XOXO

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
