I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Rocking Bald For The Cause

Hi! My name is Maris and I am 8-years-old. My big sister, Rayna, shaved her head for St. Baldricks four years ago. She raised a lot of money and I was so proud of her. I've been asking my parents every year when it would be my turn. I'm so excited this year to finally have my own story about helping kids kick cancer's butt! I think kids are strong and we can do almost anything. I know that moms hate to see their kids hurting. My mom told me once that she hurts when I hurt. I've seen her cry before when I cried. I don't think kids should get sick and I don't think moms should have to cry. I hope I can raise enough money by shaving my head so that moms and kids can be healthy and happy together. Please help me reach my goal Thanks! XOXO
