I helped to raise money for childhood cancer research
Childhood Cancer research and awareness is a passion of mine. St. Baldrick's is something that I believe in! In 2012 I had the honor of shaving for the first time at the first Donna's Good Things event in Chicago. It was one of the most amazing experiences. I made friends that I will have forever. That same month I volunteered at an event in honor of sweet Piper and knew that I wanted to host one myself. In 2013 I was blessed to be able to return to Chicago for the Candlelite event in Chicago. September of last year, with the help of some AMAZING people, we held our first event at Cherokee Cattle Company. It's 2014 and we are ready for another Cherokee Cattle Company event (also a Donna's Good Things event). The question is...to shave or not to shave? This is the first time in several years that I have more than an inch or two of hair. Should I keep it? Shave again? I want to put it to a vote! Make a donation and indicate shave or not shave where it asks for your name. The higher dollar amount wins the vote!
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
