On September 20th I will be shaving my head, any funds I raise will go to helping The National Childhood Cancer Foundation. While this is a great cause, I am more so doing this as a tribute to two extremely important men in my life. My father in law who passed away from cancer (multiple myeloma) a year ago, and my dad who has been diagnosed and is being treated for Liver Cancer. My father in law was the most patient, warm hearted and caring man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He had a truly special place in all our hearts, especially to our youngest child, who though her Papa hung the moon. My dad who my entire life seemed so indistructable, never remembering him being sick often if at all and always the rough and tough cowboy kinda guy... but at the same time putting up with my terrible teen years and welcoming with open arms when I was done being a brat lol. There aren't enough words to explain how special each of these men are to me, so I will just sum it all up saying that this is for the Papas. p>
