I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: BAKER PEDIATRICS

Colleen wrote this essay to show me she was serious about shaving again.... " I think I should shave my head for St.Baldridck's because it is for a good cause. I shave my head to raise money to cure a disease called cancer. The money goes to hospitals in the USA. I would like to raise at least $1,000.00 I know after I shave my head I won't have to worry about cleaning or brushing my hair. Also on hot days I won't have to worry about bangs in my face or hair on my neck or ponytails. These are all good things. One bad thing is that people might think I'm a boy. But that is OK. I know that girls and boys with cancer have to lose their hair so why can't I? Please donate to the St. Baldrick's Foundation!" I spared you the spelling errors -Katie

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids

Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
