I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: UCCOM_LC15

I'm donating my hair this year to support cancer patients and to help raise money for cancer research. My ponytail will be joined with countless others to be made into wigs for women who have lost hair due to cancer treatments. The money I raise will go to the St. Baldrick's Foundation to help fund research for childhood cancers. My 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Rohlfs, passed away from breast cancer complications in 2008. She was a phenomenal teacher, and a woman who saw every great potential in her students, leaving a lasting impression on all of us. I remember when she first lost her hair, and I remember when she decided to fight back, donning a wig and turning the 6 months she was initially given to live into nearly 10 years. She was a leader and a role model for other cancer survivors, and remains an inspiration to me. Please help support cancer patients and cancer research efforts by making a donation today. Every dollar makes a difference. Thank you!
