As many of you know, I shaved my hair this weekend to support the St Baldrick's Foundation in memory of my nephew Jacob Hudy. I have been a supporter for years for my nephews and friends who annually shave their heads and I have always wanted to join them in cutting my hair, but the time was never right for me. This year was the first year I actually attended the event. I was overwhelmed by the sense of community and love in the room that I decided right then and there to participate. What an experience! Because my participation was not planned, I am asking now for your assistance in supporting The St. Baldrick's Foundation. I shaved my head to raise money for childhood cancer research! Did you know that kids' cancers are different from adult cancers? It's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So I decided to do something about it by raising money for cures.
