I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Westhaven Warriors

I am shaving my head to RAISE MONEY for childhood cancer research! My family has participated in this event for past several years with much love in honor of my little friends Shane, Ava, and Brooke Haddad and my not so little friends Amy and Eric Haddad. This is a very important fundraiser in my life and the lives of my family. Last year 5 of my 6 family members shaved their heads for Shane - me, my wife Stacy, my daughter Grace, and my sons Alexander and Luciano (Isabella watched and took photos of the rest of us ; ). I am the emcee of this event and have been privileged to meet the many generous and loving people who come to give of themselves to show their love for others. But this event is not about me. It's not about me growing a full beard and shaving my head from top to bottom. It's not about my wife and children shaving their heads. This event is about Shane and the children like him who don't have the chance to decide whether or not they have hair. This event is about RAISING MONEY in an effort to find a cure so that little boys like Shane are given back the chance to decide how long their hair is and how they can live their life to the fullest after their cancer is gone. This event is about RAISING MONEY to find a cure so that my friends Ava, Brooke, Amy, and Eric don't have to continue to endure the struggle and heartache that accompanies childhood cancer. Kids' cancers are different from adult cancers -- it's true. And childhood cancer research is extremely underfunded. So my family decided to do something about it by RAISING MONEY for cures. Now I need your help! I have 48 hours to meet my goal of $10,000 -- the shaving event is this Saturday evening. Will you make a donation? There is no time to procrastinate -- these children need every minute of research available and your donation will help further that research. Every dollar makes a difference for the thousands of infants, children, teens, and young adults fighting childhood cancers. You know that this must be done -- donate now to help my friends. You may donate a dollar or a thousand dollars, but please donate something. Peace, Grace, Alexander, Isabella, Luciano, Stacy and Aaron AMDG
