In the 1950's if you were diagnosed with cancer you most likely were going to die. Because of research things have changed. Now you have a much better chance to live. Things still need to change. My friend is suffering from cancer he is only 14. He had pretty blond hair less then a year ago. Now he has none. I love my hair, who doesn't love their hair…Oh sure we all have our complaints. I wish I had red hair like Amy Pond from Dr. Who. But when you don't have a choice and have it taken away because of life saving treatments. I bet we would all realize just how much we loved it. Loosing hair is only one thing that sets cancer patients apart from other kids. :(
On the 19th of April I will be shaving my head to show unity of all children and hopefully raise needed money to continue this fight against cancer for children. Children who should be running, playing, having crushes and getting into trouble.

St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
