I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: JLT Towers Re / Towers Watson Global Team

One of the most difficult parts of being a parent is facing so many things that are out of your control. Shortly after Mark and I were married, part of our family had to deal with (and joyously overcome) childhood cancer. When it came time for us to start our family, the memories of that struggle, those fears, continued to nag at me. When I first heard about the St. Baldrick's Foundation, I realized that this was a chance for me to DO something about that fear. It was a chance for me to take action to help others in that struggle. I am so proud of my daughter, Eleanor, for making the decision to sacrifice her 8-year-old-girl vanity in order to help other children.

BUT

In order to make that sacrifice worthwhile, we need your help!
