I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team OdysseyRe

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team OdysseyRe

Having worked in a nuclear power facility for several years during my early Engineering days, it was inevitable that my cranial follicles would elect to surrender their growth in my mid-forties. While a modest amount of head fur remains, I have decided to offer the remainder of it to the worthy cause of St. Baldrick’s. I am also hopeful that I can rock the Vin Diesel look. For the uniformed, St Baldrick’s is an organization dedicated to dealing with children’s cancer. It is volunteer driven and raises significant money through head shaving events. “Shavees" ask friends and family to make donations "on their head" and in return, they attend one of thousands of volunteer-organized events around the world where they have their heads shaved in solidarity with kids fighting cancer. I am part of the OdysseyRe team that is participating this year and my company has generously agreed to match whatever funds I can raise. So, with that being said, I am making a first time appeal to raise some donations. As you can imagine, I don’t want to be embarrassed by being the only Shavee with plenty of enthusiasm but no funds so I am asking that you visit my webpage - http://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/682975/2014 - and donate whatever you can for a very decent cause. Best regards and thank you for your thoughtful consideration.
