I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lindsey

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Team Lindsey

In April it will be six years that my best friend Ben lost his little sister to cancer. Even at 8 years old, I knew how this devastating disease not only effects the victim, but how it effects a family, as well. I wanted to do something, but I wasn't sure how to get help. Then, Ben introduced me to St. Baldricks, which i found was a fun organization that raises money for kids with cancer. There are a lot of fundraising organizations out there, but this group focuses on the most innocent and youngest of victims. This will be my 6th year being a shavee and a proud member of Team Lindsey. Since then, many of my friends have joined our group and last year, our team raised over $29,000, which brings us over $100,000, since Team Lindsey was formed. As I have in all other years, I am asking you for help. We have made such a huge contribution for this awesome cause, and our cause has initiated a snowball effect throughout our town, to where we look forward to this event, every year! I am trying to raise $500 this year for St. Baldricks in honor of Lindsey Ledwon, who we lost at such a young age, but who is still with us in memory, fighting for those that still have a chance. Donate to my website, become a shavee, join us at Absolutely Delicious at 18 N. Cass in Westmont on March 16th, or do all three! Doesn't matter how much you give, it's the support that is important. Thank you!
