My Story

Lindsey was a remarkable 5 year old girl who bravely battled brain cancer for 3-1/2 years. In 2004 she was diagnosed with a rare brain tumor known as Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT). Her prognosis at diagnosis was less than a 10% chance of surviving a year. Lindsey endured countless procedures and medications during that time, including: - Craniotomy (x3) - Chemotherapy - Stem Cell Transplant - Focal Radiation (x2) - Radiosurgery At Christmas, 2007 Lindsey's cancer returned yet again. She went back into treatment fighting this thing with every ounce of strength she had. She passed away April 22, 2008. She was an inspiration to us all.
