I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Omega Ministry

I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Alpha Omega Ministry

Hey guys! When my friend Steve Hooper suggested I get involved with St. Baldrick's, I have to confess I wasn't immediately fired up about the idea of fundraising for cancer research. Yet, as I read through all the information about childhood cancer research on the St. Baldrick's website, I couldn't help but feel compelled to do something to help out. I mean, did you know that all types of childhood cancers combined receive only 4% of U.S. federal funding for cancer research? We have to do something about that. Therefore, I have decided to shave my head as a sign of solidarity for children with cancer and in order to raise $250 for research.

Will you consider donating to this wonderful cause of saving children's lives? Every dollar counts in striving on towards the goal of defeating childhood cancer and improving the lives of kids who are in this hard battle. Thank you and God bless!

The King will say to those on His right, "Come you who are blessed by my Father, ...[for] I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me ...Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25: 34,40
