I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with: Shavenado

Hello, my name is Andy, and I'm shaving my head for the second year in a row to raise money for childhood cancer research! I was just going to help sell raffle tickets at last year's event, but I got caught up in the moment and decided to shave on the spot to raise more money for the kids and families in need. I also decided to shave to honor my Uncle Brent (which is my middle name) who passed away at only 8 years old after fighting cancer for many years. I wish I could have met him, because if he was anything like my Dad...Whoa, that would have been awesome! I'm still a little young to fully understand what my Dad, Grandma and Grandpa went through all those years ago, but I know that it still makes them sad to talk about it. :(

I also just found out about another family friend's son, Truman, who was just diagnosed with cancer this past week, and he's only 5 years old. It's so sad to hear about other kids especially ones younger than I am being so sick and losing their hair from taking chemicals and radiation to try to get rid of cancer. I'm sure they are scared, and their Mom and Dad are very worried. I want to help them by shaving my head to raise money for cancer research which can hopefully save this boy and others some day.

Will you please help me...help these kids and their families by making a donation today? They need our help, and if all I have to do is shave my head and get heckled at school to help them, I'll do it every time.

Please donate today!
