I shaved to raise money for childhood cancer research with:
Cub Pack 161
A few years ago you might remember that I cut my waist length hair for this great cause and donated it to Locks of Love. This year I am asking for donations from you to support my efforts to fight this terrible disease. My reason for participating this year is a 12 year girl named Hannah in my friends church. I remember in the fall she showed me a picture of this girl and I thought she really was beautiful. Then she told me that she is fighting cancer, thyroid cancer. It was hard to imaging a girl so young and beautiful was fighting something so horrible. I have decided that this year I will SHAVE my head. My goal is $2,000. I hope to reach this goal by March 30th. Please help me to stand in solidarity with Hannah and all the children fighting cancer. In doing this I hope to be able to give parents and children some hope when they hear their doctor say that it is cancer. But can then tell them of the new treatment that has been discovered and their chances of beating this disease is better because of the funding that has been received from St. Baldrick's. 100% of all donations goes directly to research to find a cure for pediatric cancer. Please be a part of finding a cure by donating.
Be it known to all that this participant has dedicated at least three years of service to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation helping kids with cancer throughout all the land.
St. Baldrick’s Honored Kids
Kids with cancer are our reason for it all. They’re the inspiration behind our event and the reason we’re helping fund childhood cancer research. We believe all kids should be able to grow up and turn their dreams into realities. Join our event or make a donation, and click the photos below to read their incredible stories.
St. Baldrick’s started as a grassroots effort 25 years ago, driven by people who believe in helping kids with cancer.
